Jesus is being lost in a religion bearing His name. People are being lost because they cannot reconcile Jesus’ association with Christianity. Christianity has become docile, domesticated, civilized. We have forgotten that there is a kingdom of darkness stealing the hopes and dreams and souls of a humanity without God. It is time to hear the barbarian call, to form a barbarian tribe, and to unleash the barbarian revolt. Let the invasion begin…

I found the book to be great. I read the book and then got it on Cd to listen to in the car. I have found this to a book that God used to convict me, inspire me, and challenge me. Thanks for the quote it has been a while since I read it or listened to it.

It did move me to action. I have become more willing to “be out there” with my faith and with those I disciple. It has also shaped the messages I teach. I continue to be challenged by it. I have read several things that have really challenged me recently. Hope the Vox Cafe goes well for you!
